Chambord Spritz

Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur made in France. It works really well in cocktails, especially a spritz – due to its lovely flavor and color.

If you haven’t tried it already, grab a bottle of Chambord and get to mixing! You’ll find it to be fruit and sweet, but with a very nice balance – not too syrupy or overdone.

  • Dry White Wine – A Pinot Grigio or pinot blanc, a stainless steel Chardonnay, or a Viognier would be perfect. It doesn’t have to be a fancy bottle.

  • Ice cubes

How to Make a Chambord Spritz

You’ll want to mix this black raspberry cocktail with a dry, but crisp white wine. A pinot grigio or pinot blanc, a stainless steel Chardonnay, or a Voignier would be perfect. It doesn’t have to be a fancy bottle.

Mix the Chambord and dry white wine in a large wine glass over ice. Top the glass off with soda water and enjoy.

Chambord Spritz

This cocktail pairs well with many different appetizers, if you’re looking for what to serve it with. One of the ingredients it goes so well with is fruit, so think about making crostini with ricotta and different types of fruit, or a French baguette with blue cheese and pear.

Where to Purchase Chambord

chambord

You can get Chambord at any specialty liquor store. It’s also often available at the grocery (in states where liquor is sold there).

My preferred way of buying liquor is through Saucey online, but there are lots of other online retails too.
