Ingredients You’ll Need
- Rye whiskey – We used Bulleit rye for this recipe but there are many different choices when it comes to rye whiskey.
- Fresh apple cider – Use any apple cider that you want. You can try making your own with this recipe.
- Lemon juice – Freshly squeezed juice.
- Maple syrup
- Garnish – Apple slices and sprigs of rosemary.
How to Make This Hard Apple Cider Cocktail
This apple cocktail is one of my favorites. It mixes rye with fresh apple cider and a little bit of lemon juice and maple syrup — flavors that just scream fall when put together.

Add the rye, apple cider, lemon juice, and maple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake.
Strain into a glass over ice cubes.
Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!

What is Rye Whiskey?

- 1/4 ounce real maple syrup
- Apple slices and rosemary sprig for garnish
