BBQ Cauliflower Wings

These bite-sized pieces of roasted cauliflower are coated in a perfectly spiced batter, baked to golden perfection, and then slathered in your favorite BBQ sauce. The combination of paprika, garlic, and BBQ sauce creates a smoky, tangy taste that satisfies all your cravings.

Helpful Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet – To get that delicious golden crust, make sure your cauliflower florets are spaced out in a single layer on the baking sheet. Overcrowding traps steam, which can make the wings soggy instead of crispy. If you’re making a large batch, bake in multiple rounds or use two baking sheets.
  • Shake off excess batter – When dipping the cauliflower in the batter, shake off any extra before placing it on the baking sheet. Too much batter can cause clumping and uneven cooking. A light, even coating is all you need for that crispy texture.
  • Use high-quality BBQ sauce Since the BBQ sauce is the star of the flavor show, choose one you love. Whether it’s a smoky homemade blend or your go-to store-bought brand, the sauce sets the tone for your wings. For a spicy kick, mix in some hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper before coating the cauliflower.
