These Puff Pastry Pizzas take the classic combination of pepperoni and mozzarella and reimagine it as a flaky, golden packet of flavor. Using store-bought puff pastry keeps preparation straightforward, while the fresh mozzarella adds a creamy contrast to the savory pepperoni.

Baked until crisp and served with pizza sauce for dipping, these bundles offer a satisfying, bite-sized way to enjoy pizza without the need for slicing or utensils. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or a crowd-pleasing appetizer, this recipe delivers on taste and convenience.

Helpful Tips

  • Keep Puff Pastry Cold Until Ready to Use – Puff pastry is sensitive to warmth; keeping it chilled until just before rolling prevents it from becoming sticky and difficult to handle, ensuring flaky layers after baking.
  • Rearrange the Pepperoni – I find that the slice of pepperoni often slides off the side of the square, so be prepared to pull it back up the second you take it out of the oven.
  • Customize Your Fillings – Feel free to swap pepperoni for other toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or vegetables.
