Helpful Tips
- Make It Ahead: If you’re hosting a large gathering, consider frying the chicken and making the waffles ahead of time. Reheat them in the oven at a low temperature to keep everything warm and crispy before serving.
- Customize Your Flavors: Feel free to add your favorite spices to the chicken coating for an extra kick. A pinch of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika can add a delightful depth of flavor to the chicken.
- Experiment with Toppings: While maple syrup is a classic choice, consider offering additional toppings like hot sauce, honey, or even a dollop of whipped cream for a unique twist. This allows guests to customize their sliders to their taste.
