Batch margaritas

Making margaritas in batch means everyone gets the same perfectly balanced drink, no shaking one glass at a time while your ice melts and your guests wait. Best of all, this recipe makes 8 cocktails, so it’s ready to fuel game day, a backyard cookout, or any excuse to gather.

Helpful Tips

  • Use fresh-squeezed lime juice: Bottled lime juice can taste flat and overly tart, so squeezing your limes fresh makes a real difference in the final flavor.
  • Taste and adjust before serving: Tequila brands and lime acidity vary, so give the mixture a taste after stirring and add a touch more agave if it needs rounding out.
  • Chill your ingredients ahead of time: Starting with cold tequila, triple sec, and lime juice means your margaritas stay perfectly chilled without watering down as fast once poured over ice.
