These Sausage Cheese Phyllo Bites are the kind of appetizer that makes hosting feel effortless. With just a few ingredients and barely any prep, they turn into golden, cheesy bites that are full of flavor. Whether you’re setting out snacks for a casual get-together or need a last-minute party plate, these come through every time.

The filling is rich and comforting, made with breakfast sausage and melty cream cheese. The phyllo cups give every bite a perfect crunch, and you can make them ahead or serve them fresh from the oven. They’re also great at room temperature, which makes them an ideal low-maintenance appetizer.
Helpful Tips
- Use frozen phyllo cups: No need to mess with sheets of phyllo dough. Frozen cups are a huge time-saver and hold the filling perfectly.
- Drain the sausage if needed: If your sausage is greasy, drain off excess fat before adding the cream cheese so the filling isn’t too oily.
- Garnish before serving: Sprinkle with chopped chives just before serving for a little color and a mild onion flavor.
