Sausage & Cheese Phyllo Bites

- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
- 4 ounces cream cheese cubed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 24 phyllo cups
- 1 tablespoon chives diced
Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set the phyllo cups out on the sheet. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned.
Reduce heat to low and add in cubed cream cheese, stirring until cream cheese is fully melted. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Fill each phyllo cup with about a tablespoon of the filling.
Bake for 12 or until lightly golden and bubbling hot.
Serve warm or cold with chives on top for garnish.
