If you love the classic flavors of a Cobb salad, with all that bacon, turkey, creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, and a hard-boiled egg, you’ll love how easy it is to turn those ingredients into something that’s both practical and a little bit special.

Helpful Tips

  • Use ripe but firm avocados. You want them creamy but not so soft that they turn into mush when you dice them.
  • Keep the layers neat. It’s not just for looks — neat layers make it easier to get a little bit of everything in each bite.
  • Make them ahead. You can prep all the ingredients a few hours in advance. Just wait to cut the avocados until right before serving so they don’t brown.
