How to Make a Gingerbread Martini

  1. Chill the Glass: Start by placing your martini glass in the freezer to chill. This ensures your drink stays cold longer.
  2. Mix the Spirits: In a shaker, pour the Irish Cream, vodka, coffee liqueur, and gingerbread syrup over ice.
  3. Shake It Up: Secure the lid on the shaker and give it a vigorous shake. You want the ingredients to be well-mixed and chilled.
  4. Garnish Prep: Take your glass out of the freezer. Crush one gingerbread cookie and rim the edge of the glass with it for an extra gingerbread kick.
  5. Pour and Top: Strain the mixture into your glass. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  6. Final Touch: Garnish with a whole gingerbread cookie on the rim or floating on top.

Substitutions You Can Make

  • Non-Dairy Options: Swap out the Irish Cream for a non-dairy alternative, like almond milk Irish Cream, to cater to dietary preferences.
  • Alcohol-Free Version: To make a mocktail, replace the spirits with non-alcoholic alternatives or increase the gingerbread syrup, adding soda water for some fizz.
  • Change Your Cookie: Not a fan of gingerbread? Use vanilla syrup and a classic sugar cookie for garnish instead.
