If you’re bringing one thing to a holiday party, let it be this: a warm, cheesy dip baked right into a pull-apart Christmas tree. It’s packed with crispy bacon, two kinds of melty cheese, and just enough jalapeño to keep things interesting.

You don’t need fancy tools or hours of prep. The dough bakes into golden, fluffy rolls, and the center is a creamy, spicy dip that hits all the right notes. It looks festive, but it’s really just good food disguised as a holiday decoration.
Helpful Tips
- Press out all the liquid from the spinach with a paper towel or clean dishcloth so your dip stays thick and creamy.
- Shape the tree before it rises so it holds the form better when baking.
- Adjust the heat by removing the seeds from the inside of the jalapenos.

Christmas Tree Dip
If you're bringing one thing to a holiday party, let it be this: a warm, cheesy dip baked right into a pull-apart Christmas tree.
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen roll dough thawed
- 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 3/4 cup spinach cooked and squeezed of liquid
- 8 green onions thinly sliced
- 4 jalapeños seeded and diced
- 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 8 ounces pepper jack cheese shredded
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the dough balls in half. You may not need to use the whole bag of rolls. It depends on how big you want your Christmas tree.
- Place the pieces of dough in the shape you want on the baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds. Cover it with plastic wrap and put it in a warm place to rise, until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, spinach, onions, jalapenos, bacon, pepper jack and cheddar cheeses, and food coloring, if using. Stir until well combined.
- Once the dough has doubled, scoop the dip into the middle of the tree. Bake for 20 minutes or until the rolls are cooked through and golden.
- Serve hot.
