This Valentine’s Day Toast Board is a fun, creative way to show love through breakfast. Whether you're surprising your partner or enjoying it as a treat for yourself, it’s the kind of meal that sets the tone for the whole day ahead.
8slicesof your favorite breadsourdough, whole wheat, or brioche work well
5-6slicessalted butteror more depending on your preference
1tablespoonhoney or maple syrup
4ounceswhipped cream cheesesprinkles encouraged
Handful of raspberries
Handful of strawberrieshulled and halved
1tablespooncinnamon & sugaroptional, for dusting
Instructions
Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut hearts out of each slice of bread. Save the scraps for croutons or breadcrumbs!
Lightly butter both sides of the heart-shaped pieces and toast them on a griddle or in a toaster until golden brown.
Place whipped cream cheese, jams, honey, and spreads into small bowls for easy serving.
Wash and slice the strawberries, leaving some whole for decoration. Rinse the raspberries as well.
Arrange the toasted hearts on your serving board, leaving space for the toppings.
Place bowls of spreads and fresh fruit around the toast. Add decorative touches like a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a few edible flowers to enhance the Valentine’s theme.
