2ripe pearsthinly sliced (Bartlett or Anjou work well)
1/4cuphoney
¼cupwalnutschopped finely
Fresh rosemary leavesor thyme
Olive oilfor brushing
Salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette rounds on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil on one side.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. On each toasted slice, layer a slice of brie cheese followed by a few slices of pear.
Drizzle a small amount of honey over each crostini, allowing it to soak into the cheese and fruit.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors. If desired, add fresh thyme leaves or a small piece of arugula on top for an extra touch of freshness and color.
Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and enjoy immediately while the bread is still warm and the cheese is slightly melted.
