This best homemade brownie recipe is so fast to put together. You'll have a moist chocolatey batch of brownies hot from the oven in less than 30 minutes with no need for a box mix.
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8x8" baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Alternatively, line the pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, oil, water, vanilla, and sugar. Beat them together with a whisk or hand blender.
Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and stir together until everything is fully incorporated. Now is when you should add any chocolate chips or walnuts, if desired.
Pour mixture into the baking dish and spread it out with a spatula. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
The batter will be thick, that's normal. Just spread it out evenly.
Keep a good watch on the brownies toward the end of baking time. It's best to take them out on a little early than a little late. Don't let the edges get dried out.
You can use sugar substitute in place of the regular sugar to cut calories and carbs.
