Heat four cups of water in a kettle or pot to 185 degrees F. Add the tea bags to a heat-resistant pitcher and pour over the hot water.
Leave to brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags. Add sugar to your desired sweetness. Pour in strawberries and lemon juice. Stir well.
Stir in six cups of ice cubes (or 4 cups of cold water). Chill until cold.

If you don’t have a temperature controlled kettle, heat to boiling and let sit for 5-10 minutes before steeping the tea.You can replace the sugar with a sugar substitute like Erythritol or Allulose for a calorie-free, low carb beverage.
