Freeze the pint of ice cream until very hard. Stick the popsicle sticks into the 4 quarters of the ice cream. Using a sharp knife, cut through the middle of the pint, then again, to make 4 individual sticks. Remove the cardboard and enjoy.
Notes
Use your knife to make marks on the top of the pint to show where to insert the popsicle sticks.
Use kitchen scissors to snip the top rim of the cardboard ice cream container to make your cut smooth.
