- 7½ cups strong brewed dark coffee
- 1¼ pounds light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 750 ml Everclear 120 proof
In a large pot, combine the coffee and brown sugar. Stir over low heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Do not boil.
Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Slowly add the Everclear and mix thoroughly.
Pour into sterilized bottles or jars. Seal tightly.
Let it rest for at least 2 weeks in a cool, dark place to mellow.
