Ingredients
  

  • 1 package falafel mix like Tarazi or Knorr
  • 10 ounces prepared hummus
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges

Instructions
 

  • Mix the box of falafel mix according to the package instructions. This often requires a 30-minute rest period.
  • Form the falafel and cook according to the package instructions. You can either bake or fry the falafel. For baking, this is typically 350°F(175°C) for 25 minutes. For frying, heat the oil to 350°F(175°C) and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Spread the hummus on a serving tray. Stick a toothpick into each falafel and arrange them on the hummus platter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
