Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar or Xylitol sugar substitute

Instructions
 

  • Combine the water, blueberries, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a low boil and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Strain the mixture over a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.

Notes

To use this simple syrup, add as much as you want to a the drink or cocktail of your choice. I add 1-2 tbsp to a blueberry gin & tonic.
